- Hoy collects background check information of our drivers when they sign with us to provide services on our behalf. It includes the driver’s criminal record and previous work history.
- Hoy collects the location information of users when they are using our services through Hoy mobile application. This information includes app settings and permissions.
- If you are a driver, Hoy collects the information even the app is running in the background on your device.
- Hoy collects the transaction details while you are using our services. This includes your booking information, date and time, travel distance, payment method, promo code and total fare of the booking.
- Hoy also collects the information about your mobile device which is using to access our services. This includes the model of the device, operating system and its version, IP address, version of the software, preferred language, mobile network information, serial number etc.

- Hoy uses the collected information to provide improved services from our end. We put our best efforts to maintain services as per your needs. It helps us to maintain the safety and security standards for our services.
- We use this information to verify the identity of the user, to track your ride details, to provide personalized options to your account such as quick navigations to your previous rides.
- Hoy uses the background check reviews about the drivers to prevent unsafe drivers to use our services. We also use this information to detect and prevent fraud activities.
- Hoy uses the recorded customer care information to address the user concerns that helps to improvise the response of our customer care team.
- We use the information to analyze and research our product to add new features to our product and improve safety and security standards.
- Hoy uses the information to communicate with our users to provide promotions, updates and events to provide better services.

What we share:
- Hoy shares the user information restricted to the first name, pickup and drop locations to the driver of your outstation ride. In case of a driver, we share the information like driver photo, vehicle photo, model and license number, ratings and location to you.
- Hoy ensures you that we will not sell or trade our user information other than as disclosed in our privacy policy. We will not share your personal information with any third parties of direct marketing.
When Information delete:
- Hoy requires user profile information to provide services and keeps the information as long as you maintain your account with us. Hoy allows users to delete their accounts at any time and deletes the information which is not necessary to keep.
- Hoy will not able to delete the user account in case the user is having pending dues and unresolved claims.
Security of Information:
Hoy ensures you that the user profile information is stored in our databases securely using encryption technology. However, we cannot guarantee on the security of our databases because no security system is impenetrable. Hoy recommends our users to not disclose their account login details to everyone.
Updating Privacy Policy:
Hoy reserves the right to update the privacy policy by making significant changes at any time. We will notify you about the changes through a mail and those changes are immediately effective once they have posted on the revised privacy policy.
